What should have happened? I’m from Chicago and my Porsche Cayenne lost cooling 20 miles northeast of Fairplay Co. in the middle of nowhere and with no phone service. Long story short I was able to get back to Fairplay and pick up some tools and distilled water from a local Napa car parts store. Thank You Guys. That was good enough to get my car back from Kenosha pass to the Main Street Garage local car shop. I asked for help to fix my Porsche and since acquired tools from a local store have helped me to get my Porsche in front of the shop I knew already what has happened with my cooling. The bottom cooling pipe got detached from the engine block. The cooling pipe is held by a short 6mm screw. Unfortunately, The main street garage shop has refused to help me to get back on a road stating that they don’t fix Porsche, even knowing that this is a quick fix and has nothing to do with the brand. Could have been Alfa Romeo or Lambo and the fix would be the same. To add to the story I had two little kids in my car and a stressed-out wife. Since I already picked up some tools from the Napa Parts I was able to get that fixed myself in 2h, and I got my Porsche back on the road.

My husband and I were driving down from Mt. Sherman on a 4wd road and something punctured our tire. We stopped at NAPA Auto Parts in Fairplay and the guys that work there were so nice.
