I’m a new-ish local (lived here for two years) and finally made my way into the Platte river Saloon. Perfect atmosphere with fun, slightly sarcastic bar/wait staff always in the ready. Food was fabulous. I’m a vegetarian and had the spring rolls and my friends had the Reuben which they kept raving about. Beer was cold and locals are friendly. Don’t miss this amazing gem when you’re in Fairplay!

My family and I stopped in here earlier this week, and we are all so glad we did! Our waitress was absolutely delightful, and the food (we had calzones and the fried cauliflower) was delicious. The saloon was also very dog friendly. The waitress followed us to our table with a big pitcher to fill the dog water bowl first thing. We hope to visit again soon. Cheers to the chef and to our awesome waitress!

Delicious sandwiches, super fun little bar with eclectic decor and loads of charm. I had the meatball sub and my husband had the Reuben. Highly recommend this place!

So nice. Sat outside, dogs allowed. Brought out water bowls for our doggos. Great service, and friendly. Yummy food.
