We do not pay donors. Carter BloodCare is a non-profit community blood center that supports patients in North, Central, and East Texas. When you donate with us, you’re giving back to the community! We often give out promotional items as a “thank you” and as you donate, you can redeem points in our donor store.
It takes about 40 minutes to donate plasma. Yes! You will need a drivers license or another form of photo ID when you donate. You can find more details about the donation process here: https://www.carterbloodcare.org/donate-blood/donation-process/

Thanks for your interest in donating blood and saving lives! You'll need to bring a photo ID and the day of your appointment you will fill out a questionnaire.
Most of the high blood pressure medication doesn't disqualify a person from donating, you can always call a donor center and they'll be able to help you with any questions you may have... And appointments are preferred however walk-ins are welcomed as well.
