From the staff to the amenities to the location, it’s was top notch all the way! I’d honestly give more stars if available. My wife and I were treated so well! Very fun staying at a hotel that was "back in time"! The bathroom was a bit tight & we had a challenge finding enough electrical plug-ins but made it work for the 2 night we were there. Beautiful lobby & we enjoyed being able to sit out in front of the hotel & people watch. Though I wasn't able to do any walking, my husband saw lots on his morning walks.

My husband and I stayed at the Stockyard Hotel during a 2 night, weekend getaway. We could have chosen a more modern hotel in the area, but we wanted to have the complete adventure of the Ft Worth Stockyards. The hotel was very nice, and we felt as if we had stepped back in time for a while. We stayed in the Outlaw Room, 2nd floor, corner of East Exchange Ave and Main Street. It was very comfortable, except for the bathroom being a bit tight, but that was to be expected since we were giving up modern for the feel of the old west. I had requested extra washcloths when I reserved the room, but we didn't get them. Also, our toilet seat was loose, but we dealt with it just fine. I loved having a ceiling fan in the room, and the earplugs were a needed added bonus, seeing as how the streets outside are incredibly noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. The guy that checked us in wasn't very friendly, but I guess he was nice enough. The valet guys were great, very friendly, and very helpful! The girl that checked us out was friendly and sweet. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend, and I definitely recommend the Stockyard Hotel.
