By far the worst ER EVER!!! the charge nurse Melinda Singh was very unprofessional and The most RUDE NURSE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! She Comes out on her phone calling out patients while talking on the phone. We all looked at her like who is she talking to. I was there with my child for a very long time. Just horrible didn’t even give us an estimated time to be seen that just tells me it’s VERY unorganized !! I thought so highly of this hospital. But now I see why !!!!👉🏼👉🏼management has so much to do with it. I also heard the receptionist telling ppl that was asking how long is the wait and they said 7 and 1/2 hours. Really??!!? But they couldn’t tell us after waiting 6 hours there!!! They said one thing but there action prove the other. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Especially Melinda Singh charge nurse!! U can tell she’s BITTER!!! Stupid lady !! I would NOT give not even one star. But I had to In order to write this. Just horrible experience. Never before had I ever had this happen to us! We left and my lil one wasn’t even seen by a doctor. Please I share this to save someone’s time. Find another ER IM SURE ANYTHING OTHER THAN VCH IS MOST PROFESSIONAL AND BETTER MANAGEMENT! GOOD LUCK!

So much needs to be improved on at this hospital. It used to be such an amazing hospital to take children to for emergencies and last night my sister took my nephew there and was waiting for an hour before he was even seen by a triage nurse and then the nurse didn’t even want to do basic vitals like a temperature check. The most basic import vital you could do. His fever was 104° and then the nurse proceeded to tell my sister that she could give him medicine on her own if she had it. This was enough to infuriate me let alone the fact that the emergency room was so full of people throwing up everywhere and coughing all over the place. The waiting room was so full no one could sit in chairs, they had to sit on the floors and they weren’t limiting people coming in or letting people know that it was standing room only.

The ER was one of the worst experiences of my life! My wife and I took our very sick child to the ER after work based on advice from our doctor who was on call. Upon checking in only one parent was allowed in as the ER was overcrowded to say the least. Every seat was taken and several parents had to stand and hold their own child. There was no separation for sick vs injured children and no one there to ask questions too. My wife needed to use the bathroom and when she entered the restroom was disgusted at what she found. There was no soap or paper towels and the restroom was a mess. After waiting almost 3 hours we were never called and decided to leave and take our chances. Having supported valley children's for a number of years and it being the pride of the valley I expected a whole lot more. We will not be returning or supporting this hospital any longer.

Bring him to the emergency room at Valley Children's hospital in Fresno, California and tell them you are concerned about your son's health and want him to be evaluated.

Depends on the doctors and the condition of the patient. Hope they have room available for the patient.

My Granddaughter is having surgery next month - her mom will be staying - website states two allowed. Can her 13 year old sister stay with Mom for the nights they are there?

No. They will only allow 2 persons total regardless as to the 3rd person is a child and they wont allow the second person to swap out with a third person on that same day. Its terrible what the politicians are doing to the parents of sick children, its criminal if you ask me.
