Richardson Police wrongfully raided my home because of a prank call. I was asked to come out with my hands up like a criminal. When I begin speaking to the police I told them this had already happened on multiple occasions and how humiliating the experience was. Some of the officers showed absolutely no remorse and some were laughing. My heart was completely broken by this whole experience. π After they realized it was a prank call they brung my boyfriend's wheelchair out because he was temporarily paralyzed and told to come out of the house with his hands up like a criminal also. I spoke to Sergeant Shackleford hoping that someone would sympathize with me but, he was worse than the officers! He insulted my intelligence by asking did I know how to read when I asked his name to report him to his cheif. I guess he thought I couldn't read because of my race. When I spoke to Sergeant Shackleford's superior , Lieutenant Holley he was worst than them All!!!!! It finally hit me that the whole Richardson Police Dept is RACIST Including internal affairs unit Lieutenant Teddy Yoshida. I couldn't even request audio and video records properly because the women who handles that dept (Marisa Martinez) was already aware I was coming and gave me a very hard time! π I hope they All realize that I can read and write extremely well enough to expose the racism at the Richardson Police Dept. I pray my complaint & video footage falls into the right hands and those Racist cops be held accountable for their actions. ITS A SHAME THEY TOOK TAX DOLLARS TO BUILD THAT BEAUTIFUL NEW BUILDING FOR A BUNCH OF RACIST COPS!!!πππππ On the bright side I'm the only African American women on this block and my neighbors had Never spoken to me or known my name but, thanks to how horrible I was treated by the police I have lots of friends now! God is STILL GOOD! π

Customer service couldβve been better, the sleeping quarters were unsatisfactory and the food was less than adequate. Thereβs plenty a room for improvement but I do have to say the price was fair. I will give it 2 1/2 stars but I donβt have that option so Iβm gonna round up to 3 stars. Itβs just business.

You have a 3 rating because you unlawfully detain people and refuse to provide the foia request because of how damning the video is. Just shady at every turn. Eventually you're going to have to release the video, and when you do I think the citizens of your town aren't going to insist on changes.

There was a burglary and the two suspects were hiding in the neighborhood and were posing a real threat to all the residents in the area. It took some time but the police found and apprehended both. I know it was inconvenient, for me as well, but they did a great job protecting the community last night.

Yes In a way. The way they changed the law to wear if there's a domestic dispute either one or the other or both end up going to jail. It's best you just let them in and take care of the situation because if you step outside they can arrest you. It didn't used to be that way domestic dispute cases are handled completely different the police really didn't do anything if they didn't step off the property now all you have to do is step outside of the house. A lot had to do with this one lady who had made over 50 calls of domestic dispute her husband was assaulting her and the police didn't do anything and her ended up killing her that's when all the laws changed. They made a movie based on the real story I can't remember the name of it but I'm sure if you Google movie about domestic dispute I'm sure it'll come up. I pray the situation gets better for you I lived through a year-and-a-half of abuse and the police never would do a thing it was before the laws were changed.
In Texas the county constables are assigned the duty of serving civil papers. If you know where you ex lives then contact that county constable and they can walk you through the process.
