Beautiful location and ambiance. We did not stay here although we have in the past. No longer willing to pay over $200 something per night. Had dinner...my husband ordered his steak "medium well" and it was well beyond that! I ordered the walleye, the menu said with stuffing and cranberries and wild rice, it wasn't really stuffing, it was just more wild rice but with cranberries. The asparagus was really good. The Caesar salad was good and we liked our server. Limited menu. We like the Scandinavian flare, when we have stayed, the breakfast was excellent, especially if you like herring, cheese and bread.

We stayed in the Pinecone cottage for 3 nights. Beautiful and cozy with lots of common area, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Jacuzzi tub in the loft area! Restaurant in the lodge is fantastic! Staff is amazing! Very helpful and accommodating, always with a smile! Our first time at Cove Point, we will be back!!

We spent 2 nights here just as a couple get away. Our room was very clean. The view was amazing. The staff were all very nice. They have their own restaurant on site along with a bar. Breakfast is served daily. Pool area was clean. Nice quiet place.

The Swedish meatballs were delicious and the caramel cheesecake so fine I took my time to enjoy each bite. The atmosphere was very relaxing with the northwoods cabin lodge feel including hand crafted wood tables and chairs. We enjoyed drinks by the fire afterwards and others played board games and read books. The service was lovely; I really felt like a welcomed guest. The serving sizes were generous. I would definitely recommend Cove Point restaurant for anyone looking to indulge their food soul.

Anna, We have snowshoes and wifi, but no skis. Happy Holidays!
Never had an overpriced resort fee?!? Where have you stayed? You could sell the list! Just don't over price it 😉
Yes they have some pet friendly rooms and some of the cottages also.
Don't know about kayaks for sure but have never seen any over many years of staying there. Bike rentals are available for a fee. There is an indoor pool as well. Cottages have access to sauna, but I don't know if there is one available for the lodge.
I do believe that there is a lot. Of handicap accessible to most of the place. In fact there is plenty of h c acess
