Was leaving the gym when an employee said goodbye, to which I nodded my head and said "thanks"(quietly). Then another employee (a young girl) told me "wow that's rude someone said goodbye and you should say it back". It honesty shocked me that a staff member would be so forthcoming with such a remark. I found it both inappropriate and unprofessional. I let her know that I was a customer of this gym and I did not need to say anything to anyone if I so chose. She turned her back to me and refused to confront me on the issue. It was as though I were dealing with a child. Also, she did not seem to be reprimanded for such behavior but instead the other employee simply asked me to ignore her and be on my way. Though this gym is not perfect I have continued to come for over 6 months now. If bad customer service such as this continues I will look to cancel my membership. Bad customer service is one thing I will not tolerate.

As a gym, it's okay. The machines are okay. The free weights are definitely a mess, and there's a lot of equipment hogging that goes unchecked, even by the employees! Don't ask to work through; even the employees will just plop on a machine and sit there doing nothing. The pool is tiny, but it's basically off limits unless you're 500 lbs and standing in the middle of a lap lane moving your hands around pretending that's exercise. The hot tub is basically just obesity stew any time of day, too. Locker rooms are generally clean but the saunas aren't. The reason I'm giving this one star is because it's not worth it to go just to use some of the weight machines.

A big variety of old outdated equipment , new equipment for cardio always busy take a number , keep an eye on valuables. Lots of crooks checking your gear and then break the lock. Leave all valuables and money in your car. I heard several users having their locker busted. I come as pure necessity otherwise I have to go to Chicago,or oak Brook. No choice basically.

The L.A. Fitness In Broadview asked for my P.O.V. 2-25-22 The one in Oak Brook didn't ask when I was there 2-27-22
I have never seen it as dirty as the pictures posted. This facility is very clean and I have had great experiences here. I would recommend taking a tour to see for yourself. Otherwise the environment is great, sometimes they bring live DJ's, there's plenty of space for self routines, and it's not nasty humid inside.
Sorry Julie, it does not currently have a steam room, but the location is going to be renovated and updated. Perhaps there could be one.
there is a Jacuzzi right next to the swimming pool that both the ladies and men use. The men's locker room and a ladies locker room both have a sauna.
The basketball court has often been turned into court for volleyball, not sure of days/time. Yes recreational games.

I have seen bags that hang from the ceiling. Quite large body bags not the small ones. But as stated above you need to bring your own gloves
Your best bet is to check out the clubs website. But search for promotions online ..can save you on the initiation fee. Try global fit they have a 50% off enrollment fee is what I used when I signed up.
