Fun free activity for the kids. Not a huge farm, only about a dozen animals but fun to visit for an hour or so.

A wonderful farm with a farm store with lots of local foods! You also get to spend time with all the animals and enjoy the community garden plots!

parking is bad and they can use water fountains

Nice surroundings but not much going on today. Maybe just not the right time of day.

The farm is open dawn to dusk free of charge. The animals are out and there is some signage about the farm. Monday - Saturday there is staff around to answer questions, (I think 8-3:30) There are also events and classes sponsored by the St. Charles park district (those have a small fee).
Teen volunteers must be over the age of 15 and are accepted on a case by case basis
I believe so. They have to be leashed and cleaned up after obviously. They have a walking trail near the farm also.
Yes of course, the farm grounds are open Mon-Sat from 8am-3pm Here is some helpful information https://www.primrosefarmpark.com/navigating-the-farm/ Enjoy your visit!
No. It is a working farm.
please contact the St. Charles park district
We typically have eggs but recommend calling to check before you come out.
You can visit all the animals, they have scheduked feedings, etc. They have a sandbox, and trails.
