Stayed here with my family of 3 and dogs. We will coming back and soon. Great park, clean and very peaceful feeling. We didn’t use the bathhouse as we stayed in our travel trailer but everything else was perfect. RV sites are mostly leveled in a pull through paved and concrete pad but is mostly dirt. Must of them have a picnic table in concrete slab and with aluminum shelter so you don’t have the sun on top of you while eating outside. We stayed in site 27, has shadows and no neighbors in the back. Be aware that you are camping in nature, a lot of ants around I recommend to wear closed shoes. Really amazing park.

I LOVE this state park. Fishing, swimming, kayaking/paddle boarding, boating, camping, boating etc. are all great here! but the GEM of this park is the AMAZING STAFFFFFF. We camp here a LOT as travelers and the staff pointedly remembered my name, my kids (junior Rangers now) and what our favorite campsites are. Dawn is the only gal I know by name but every single staffer I’ve met at Lake Corpus is helpful, patient, fun and gives you that good ole’ southern kindness. Thank you, Lake Corpus SP Staff for being you! Felt the need to give y’all a shout out.

Beautiful place. Nice fishing pier. The staff was helpful. Campsite was clean. Lots of critters so be sure to put your food away.

Plenty of available shaded seating. Lake water was perfect temperature and the new fishing Pier looks great♡ Clean area and restrooms close by the lake too.

We're were there swimming just recently and it was safe for the kids. No alligator or any other predator of equal size
Water only... 10.00 electric and or shelter... 25.00 and full hook up and or shelter with heat and air 50.00...
$5 daily for adults, kids 12 and under are free. (Camping fees are additional.)
Availability is on their website
The park does have a main number on website to call. They do rent for a whole week. Cabins have electricity, beds, ac/ heat, outside water spout, picnic table and a lock on door. If you have more than one family going, I recommend cabins 8,9 or 12, 13. Theses cabins face each other. Plenty to do at this park but stock up on groceries and bait in town, there isn't a nearby store for 11 miles. There's an HEB in town.
Yes. They even have solar kiosk style 24 hr firewood vending machine.
Yes, but you pay a day use fee to enter the park to use it.
Yes you do need reservations. There was sign posted that only reservations were allowed. We were just there last week.
Some areas ok view others not so much. None right on the water that i know of but you might verify.
They don't sadly, but be careful when you walk in the water because there have been incidents with broken glass and fish hooks
Most state parks have an honor pay system. There are envelopes available at the gate to put your one night fee into and deposit in the mail box. The next morning just go to the office to confirm and pay for any additional days if you havent already paid through the reservation system. Make sure you set up in the right area, there are regular and premium spots usually. Dont forget the per person fee, usually 5 to 6 per person per day! Think about getting the Texas State Park Pass, $70 per year per family.
My name is Keith and im fixing to reopen the bait shop on Park Road 25 down from the park entrance. I should be open in the first week of March of 2018. It will be called Adams Trading Company. I will be carrying live bait beer, ice, cold drinks, just about ANYTHING a fishing person could want hope to see you soon.
Fishing at State parks is free. You just have to pay entry fee to park which is around 6 dollars and possibly pay for an overnight campsite which is around 20 dollars a night.
I believe $18 an hour is when I went last year
Parks are filling up. Book early
Some have an ac heater combo
The cabins are open for renting if they have not already been reserved on their website
Yes. There is a map on the page, click on each number. All RV hookups are 30 amp. No sewer connection. But they do have a dump station. Restrooms and showers are open 24hrs. Very nice and well maintained park.
After 2pm
There aren't any technical cabins. There are little buildings some w ac some without ac but the walls are screened. All of those buildings do have electricity.
We were trying to get some for July 9,10,11,12,13,and the 14 but nothing open till July 25
You have to pay to get in and day use camp sites are on north side , they provide you with a map . overnight camping , water only no electric is a little more but you have to pay it to stay overnight .
The sites are about 100yds from the lake area.. within walking distance... Now prices vary depending on what your looking for.. as far as water electric .... No sewer hookup.. you drop your gray water in a designated area before you leave.. You can go on the website under Texas State Parks and look up that specific park for more information.. there is also a nap of the park to see where the water is to the sites
5 dollar for adult or over 13
The shelters (some with AC some without) are about 12X20. They have two twin beds. Good for two adults. You could pack a couple of kids in there also.
Yes, give them a call and ask for pricing. Dont forget to ask about what lots are available. Kids are out of school now, so I'm sure they're starting to get busy. Have a great time!
Yes. There is. A beautiful place to camp at. I love it there. Very clean. RV spots are available. It be wise to call before going.
The Texas State Park website states that "pets are not allowed in any building at Texas State Parks."
No fishing license required in any state park of Texas. Tent camping, RV, cabins, and screened shelters are available. Reservations not required but may be advisable this time of year.
The state park office should sell them
Yes! Beautiful park. Go to website for prices.
Screened shelters without AC are $25.00 a night. Shelters with AC / completely inclosed are $50.00 a night. Also a $30.00 deposit which is refundable. Plus daily entrance fees of $5.00 a day. FYI each shelter has 2 twin beds, be sure to take bed sheets.
Yes
Yes there is a $5.00/person entrance fee per night. Children 12 and under are free. Or you can purchase a State Parks Annual Pass that waives those entrance fees at all Texas State Parks for a year
8 per site including children
Yes every site has a grill... fire ring... charcoal only at this time...
Yes at the state park you do not need a fishing licence and from the pier they catch crappie, fresh water drum, catfish and bass regularly.
You can stay as long as you like, but there is a time limit on the camping spot, meaning you have to change sites every so often. I believe it's every month.
Always some price
Last time we were there 3 months ago it was between $18.00-$20.00 for water & elect or $25.00 - $30.00 Full hook-up (water, elect.& sewer)

If you google State Parks you will get all kinds of information.
Sure...
I have paid $5 at the gate just to empty the black water here locally in Austin. They didn't charge me the daily use fee since I have an Annual Parks Pass but I don't know if they would charge that fee if all you want to do is clear your tank. I am guessing all State Parks are the same but just ask at the office.
