It was very relaxing! I loved the music and the salt cave. Don't fall asleep because you will miss the experience if you do.

I've never been to other salt caves to make a comparison, but I really appreciate Galos. I bought a multisession pass on Groupon in early 2020, used it twice, and then finally came back in 8/2022. They honored my pass! Both employees I have met have been friendly and helpful. The room feels clean, as do the chairs and soft, white, freshly laundered blankets. I like to tie my hair up, relax, and enjoy the warmth and the relaxing music/nature sounds. To be honest, I usually let myself fall asleep and it's so refreshing. Just one thing I can do to deliberately rest and recharge!

Yes there are appointments for every hour Galos is open. The cost is $15 per person or $10 for senior citizens. You can also get reduced purchase prices by going to Groupon.
You can check on Groupon, they had offered them before. The last time I was there regular price was $15 for a 45 minute session.
You can use it per session or for your group of five people!
There is a tiny parking area across from building.
No. It is a room filled with salt where you relax on beach lounges and breathe in the salty air. The lights are turned down and relaxing music is piped in. You can fall asleep very easily.
If you are in there alone, it is fine but if you are with a group of others, you should turn it off for the 45 minute session. People are there to relax and gain the benefits, and it is to remain quiet the entire time. A person on their cell phone is a distraction and a stress trigger to many people. It is best to show consideration for others and keep the phone off during that time unless you are there with your own private group. And I do believe the recording states to turn your phone off.
