If I could add a star to this review, I would. I moved my sister from a rehabilitation facility to Randall for respite care last week. Needless to say, a very stressful and anxious time for the family. From the moment we arrived, however, it was clear that she would be taken care of, as members of the staff greeted her by name when we entered. The opposite of impersonal. Her room was ready for her---cozy and clean. That morning, I had heard from Jodi Borck-the director of sales & marketing and my initial contact person--to let me know that they were looking forward to my sister's arrival. I can't say how much this meant to me. Jodi stayed with us to make sure all kinds of 'little' details were taken care of, and that my sister was comfortable in her new surroundings. Jodi continued to follow up the next day to make sure all was well. Every staff person we encountered was professional and responsive--Betty at the reception area; Caitlin, the director of health & wellness; the initial intake nurse, Jenny; three names that stick out, but there are others I am neglecting to mention. Every single staff person I have met there is pleasant, helpful, and energetic. The facility is clean throughout. Cheerful and brightly decorated. Well maintained. My sister is enjoying the meals. The responsiveness to my sister is excellent. As we begin this new phase of my sister's care, I am so grateful that I can count on the professional staff at Randall Residence to help her.

My 83 year old father lived in his home for 45 years. We have been trying to move him closer and finally did last year. We were so worried about the adjustment for him but we worried for nothing! Randall has been the best thing for him. He has the socialization he needs and loves, he loves the people who work there as well. They have been so attentive to his needs both mentally and physically and he is having a ball! Thank you to everyone at Randall for making my dad feel so welcome!

We were looking at places for our mother and when we went here we knew that we had found the best place for mom. The room size, kind staff and cleanliness was perfect, Jodi Borck explained everything to us very well and showed us around. She played a major roll in helping us making our decision. Thanks for everything Jodi.

Omg ! I don’t even know where to start. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVE ONES TO THIS PLACE. This place is the worst. The caregivers are so overworked, terrible! One CNA can have almost 20 residents specially in the memory care side. The 24/7 nursing care IS A LIE ! The Health and Wellness Director ( HWD ) is lost! Always lying. There’s no answer for a conversation without a lie. Unfortunately the General Director has been in and out of the responsibilities and the place is going down. Human Resources…. IS WORST! For CNAs and nurses the WORST PAY IN THE AREA, reason why they can’t retain employees at all. The new company offers terrible benefits, no bonuses for picking up shifts, no Labor/Holiday Day pay if you don’t work, you can’t take because the amount of people assigned, but you have to clock in and out for the break, well…. Judge yourself ☝️Finally my Grand M is out of this place.

Unfortunately it does not. There is a Medicaid Waiver program that some assisted living communities will accept, however someone usually needs to be living at the facility first, before they apply.
Long Term Care Insurance frequently covers Assisted Living and Memory Care, but does not cover Independent Living. Policies vary widely, so it's always best to check with your carrier for specifics.
My favorite way to answer this is to look at Noah in the Bible. He started building the Ark before it began to rain. Likewise, we recommend you look at options the earlier, the better. When you first begin to notice signs your loved one may not be thriving (not eating well, housework piling up, becoming increasingly forgetful) it’s time to considering options for the future. It’s better to have a plan in place and perhaps not need it, than to need a plan and not have one. If you wait until there’s a crisis, big and important decisions will have to be rushed and made under duress. Giving yourself and your family more time to get used to possibilities for the future makes for less disruption and a more gradual transition. Give us a call, we're happy to help you make a plan for the future.
The cost of Assisted Living, which varies from community to community, is based on the type and size of the rental apartment, as well as the level of care needs and the service options chosen by the resident. Visit our website to learn more about our pricing. Alzheimer’s and dementia care is more expensive due to the higher staffing ratios.
No, sorry. But great place!
Yes we have private rooms in both our memory and assisted building so you can make it as comfortable for your loved one.
