I have been trying to reach my Mom for the past few days during the 3-11 shift and I’m absolutely livid about the customer service there. I just wanted to talk to my mom and wish her a Merry Christmas and they had me on hold for 20 and 30 minutes then had the audacity to pick up and hang up on me. My mother is a new resident and I’m definitely concerned with her quality of life and care. These reviews are disturbing and I’m really irritated. The young lady man that answered the phone initially thought it was funny when I complained to him/her not sure. So the last time I called after speaking with the human being that answered, conveniently they stopped picking up and putting me on hold and I purposely held on for 30 minutes to screenshot it and ended the call myself. So thanks for this distasteful experience and making me miss my Christmas call to my mom. I’ll definitely be there Monday to speak with Administration.

This was a horrible place. Myither contracted Covid there and our family was never contacted to inform us. I was told by a surly male nurse that my mother had a slight cold. She also had a stroke the same time and was unable to speak. No physician or nurse noticed. She complained of staff stealing and being mean. For all the money paid monthly they only fed her chicken wings her least favorite part. Their claim that residents have private phones is BS.they pas around a cordless phone, probably infected with covid. Shnot only this but they had the nerve to show a photo of my mother on their website for months after she died.

If ther person is a fall risk they should meet certain standards and shouldn't be trying to walk without assistance. The type of room they're in doesn't matter. Tables and wheelchairs are a hazard for anyone! Falls in nursing homes are common. Unfortunately Illinois law does not allow for restraints of patients.

Are the facility during any hiring for CNA.
