The end of September, my Papillon fell ill to a leptospirosis infection, so ill that within 5 days his kidneys were compromised and dialysis was recommended. My contacts at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital directed me to Dr.Galvao's internal medicine group at VCA Arboretum View and my pet's illness and accident insurance with Trupanion is on direct billing. With that synergy of care and planning, I knew my companion dog of 14 years would have a fighting chance. His care in ICU for 7 days was complex after dialysis. I was overwhelmed when I brought him home. We have some hurdles yet, but he's home, eating, barking and running around. I am grateful for Dr.Galvao's patience with all my questions. The staff and vet techs there are very caring❤. It's not an easy task. Thank you for your helpful kindness. And Trupanion Pet Insurance was awesome, covered over $21k in care. Insure your pet, you can't afford not too. Thank you for being on direct billing with Trupanion.

Michelle, Stephanie, Dr Wood, were wonderful. We have been here on multiple occasions and can’t recommend them enough!

I arrived with my dog on Saturday to find out there could be a 3-4 hour wait, but they said they would have a tech examine her. I believed she had a bad UTI. The tech was great- did an ultrasound and said she was fine just needed meds to kick in. They wouldn’t even charge me for the visit. Knowing they are short staffed- the front desk gal was helpful and honest and patient and the tech was understanding and caring. Thank you for still being here….

I brought my dog to their facility for dialysis. He was very sick and needed help. When they were processing him someone had trouble with some tape and "accidently" pulled his catheter out of his neck and he bled out. He was seven pounds. I can't believe that they weren't more careful. Additionally, after he died in front of us the left us alone with him for a while, which we appreciated, but the first person in to the room came in to ask us whether we had decided to cremate him and if we wanted plaster remembrance paws and how many. Pretty cold after you just killed my dog. I would drive a thousand miles before I would ever bring another living thing to this "Clinic" In fact one star is too much.

Pricier overall, but they are very thorough and the staff is great.
Call and ask them
They are an ER so they might have lots of incoming patients
Agreed, call and ask. Our five year old flat coated retriever tore her CCL October 2017. The surgery was performed by Dr. Przywara, another specialist there. He was GREAT. The care by Dr P & the whole staff, during sugery & afterwards during rehab and water therapy was the very best. Highly recommended.
No we dont.
