The Victorian Spectre tour is well worth it! I learned so much and got scared, too! The park is huge and free to tour during the day and evening time. I will definitely be back!

Hello! Dogs are allowed in the museum as long as they remain on a leash and are properly picked up after. They are not allowed inside the exhibit buildings.
John is correct, we are closed until February, but once February hits you are free to bring your dog to the Village. If you are someone who lives in the surrounding neighborhoods you might be interested in a membership, neighborhood members get access to the Village outside of operating hours so they can walk their dogs or just enjoy our grounds.
Dear Karl, We are a living history museum called Dallas Heritage Village, we are not an RV/camper park. We are sorry that you will not be able to park your camper here. However, if while you are in Dallas you would like to visit our museum, admission for visitors to the museum is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $6 for children. Sincerely, Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park
We are open the 29th, but close the next day through January.
We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but will be open our normal hours the 26th to the 29th (10am - 4 pm, 12pm-4pm on Sunday), after which we will be closed for New Years and then January
Dog are allowed on leash while walking through the park but I believe only service animals are allowed in the buildings themselves.
For the most part, we took a stroller to almost all of them. I few have stairs and no ramps but once inside it is all on one letter. Just bring a light stroller with the ability for someone to help you up stairs
We have a veteran discount with military ID, we are also a Blue Star Museum.

not sure about the hours, mite try calling, but surely they have a website. ...?
Last time I went was with my school so we had to listen to the tour guide bit I think you can go through at your own pace depending how detailed you want the history. Could be a couple hours or may be an all day deal. I want to go back so bad now that Im grown with my own kids.
Currently Millermore is closed to the public. It will be open temporarily for our Candlelight event in early December. We are making some changes to the exhibit, reinterpreting it. There is a post pinned to the top of our Facebook page with a full description of why it is closed, and what we have planned! Take a look: https://www.facebook.com/dallasheritagevillage/
