I want to cry I'm so frustrated! Dr. Hanna seemed so nice and sincere in the appointment, I really wanted to have finally found a doctor that could help me but I've just received an $800 medical bill for basic lab services because for some reason the office decided to send it to an out-of-network lab instead of an in-network one with my insurance. I have never in my life had a doctor's office do such a thing! I am now completely out of any savings and any faith I had in medicine. Why bother going to ask for help? Why go to medical facilities when it just impoverishes me?

The staff are very disorganized and disrespectful to patients. There is zero patient care. So, I needed medical reports to be faxed to make an appointment with an oncologist for my father. I call and somebody named “Malak” answers and tells me she can’t do it now she is busy and has other things to do. I am not sure who trained her! because if she was trained right, she wouldn’t speak to patients this way. I hang up and go there , I meet her and ask her to fax them. She says yes and take the phone number for the fax. I honestly not sure if she even did it at the moment. I call the oncology office after an hour and they say still did not get it. The next day. The lady from the oncology office calls saying stuff still missing (the labs and doctor’s note) I call the office again and this time I was really frustrated because I keep going back and forth. Malak answers and says what do you want now I have other things to do and I faxed the reports, we argue, then she hangs up on me. I call again, this time she gives the phone to the nurse, the nurse, Nina defends her and says I am wrong and they did fax everything. After both of us arguing, we hang up the phone. It was hard who to believe , so I try a different oncology office. I try to call different oncology office to schedule the appointment for my dad. I speak to Monica and I tell her the medical reports are faxed, but to a different oncology office who has a different fax number. She tells me they have a different fax number as well and offers to call Dr. Hanna’s office to request the medical reports. Monica from the oncology office calls Dr. Hanna’s office. I receive a call from the nurse, Nina and she states “ I don’t have manners and I am wrong” she also tells me I made up a story because the nurse (Monica) from oncology office called and there were other three employees listening, an tells me that Monica apologized and said they have the wrong fax number” Nina stated “ I lied to them” and assumed I made up a story instead of listening to the entire story and what exactly happened. Indeed, Monica who called them from the other oncology office has a different fax number because simply it’s a different office!!!! But Nina thought I gave the wrong fax. She didn’t want to listen to me to explain that there were two different offices involved. Monica( who is not the nurse- as Nina stated) called me from the oncology office and said she got the fax. She also stated that Dr.Hanna’s office staff was rude to her and she confirmed that she did not apologize ( you are the one who doesn’t say the truth Nina and has no-manners not me). After so much energy and time spent, the fax was finally received correctly to both oncology offices. Many things go wrong and I never say anything because my parents prefer to go there, one of them was giving a different patient’s report to us! and lost report! Very MESSY As a health care worker speaking, I am very disappointed! I like Dr. Hanna, but the management and the staff are careless!

Edited after Dr. Hannah reached out to me. She politely asked if there was anything she could do to rectify the situation. I appreciate her for doing that so I'm revising my review with a higher score. She seemed like she honestly wanted to help and went the extra mile which I think is not something many doctors would do. I have since found a different clinic that I am remaining with but I appreciate Dr. Hannah reaching out to me. I had an appointment with Dr. Jacob. After the appointment he sent a month's worth of prescription for high blood pressure to my pharmacy and told me to return in a month. I returned in a month and he said he would send another prescription to the pharmacy. He never sent it. When I called back, I talked with a nurse named Nina who said I had to come in to get the prescription despite the fact that I was there a few days prior for the specific fact of getting said prescription. I have to create an appointment to follow up on a previous appointment that I made to get a prescription? It makes no sense. In a nutshell, I visited the doctor for a prescription, found out it wasn't sent, then called the office. They said "oh you have to come in for another appointment" Why? I was just there last week for the purpose of getting another prescription. Very strange and Nina did not seem to have any answers as she was confused herself. She said the doctor doesn't take calls from patients. Very confusing! I decided to see someone else and save the $40 for another copay.
