Very cool gem tucked away in the heart of the city along the Mississippi. No signs lead down to Shadow Falls but some clear paths near monument lookout takes you up the gorge and towards the falls! Very serene and beautiful place, two large bluff outcrops line the gorge as it opens up to the Mississippi! Not a hard or very long hike, definitely check it out!

Gorgeous view along the river. Unfortunately didn't find the waterfall, but we didn't hike down off the paved trail.

Mostly you just park on the streets.
Although I didn't see any entry points to the river from the Shadow Falls Park side, while hiking in the park I did see multiple sandy, beach like areas on the other side of the river where people were in swimsuits and had tubes/other water sport equipment.
It's a pretty short walk if you start at the monument, but the path to the falls isn't paved so be sure to wear shoes that can get muddy if it's rained recently.
