I’ve been told that this place is terrible. The nurses are easily confused and the staff is unnecessarily rude and preoccupied with their own personal needs.

Detox is medically assisted, food is decent. The 28 day program is based on the 12 steps. This place saved my life! The nurses are top notch!

Not sure what to make of this place. But good chance if they accept Medicaid it's going to be bottom-of-the-barrel treatment. Someone that almost died in the hospital during DTs alcohol detox was transferred here and 5 months later, I asked "So what part of the 12-step program are you on now?" They had NO response!! An alcohol addiction rehab center that doesn't even have their patients on the 12-step program?? Called to ask about the program, person on other end said abruptly it was confidential. Huh???

I only gave one star so that I can write this review. A person by the name of Sharon should not be working @ LSSI. She discouraged a client, my sons mother making matters worse to the point were she left detox. I just wonder how many people she has sent back to the street or worse to their death. When a person goes & seeks help they want to make a change in life for the better & it starts with detox. So you need to hire a person who has compassion & not have a person like Sharon who's there only for a paycheck.
