No they do not come and get the person. He has to call intake and see if there's any beds first and foremost
Any A.A. meeting is free of charge. If you ask around there, they often know of good places to detox. Don't do it alone! Alcohol detox is very serious. D.T's can literally kill you.
I suggest that you visit a D.H.S in your community. They'll assist you with referrals, or direct you to other organizations that can accommodate your needs
