Great tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and from the area. Lot less people and not a long wait.

It was so great! The tour guide was amazing and the canyon was so beautiful!! It also seemed a little less popular than antelope canyon so there were less people and we had the place to ourself. I highly recommend. It was an easy walk and our little kids in the group got through just fine. I’d highly recommend!

It’s really a gorgeous unique beauty. The secret canyon is privately own meaning that you are not allowed to enter unless you are with a tour. I’ve heard that Upper Antelope Canyon is slightly better in terms of rock shapes, but in the secret canyon you are away from the regular crowds you should expect in other canyons. We were a group of 6 people in the entire canyon. I could hear every single of my steps and take as many photos and videos i wanted without presence of other people. It was like that I was dreaming! The route to the canyon is 20 min drive on a really bumpy road, so I recommend to avoid heavy meal before your trip.

An amazing slot canyon that can only be experienced with a native guide. I don't think there is a bad time of day to go, so don't worry about having to schedule something in the morning or evening. We came in early April and the weather was perfect, wearing jeans and a light jacket. Our six- and ten-year-olds enjoyed the experience, which includes an off-road drive to the canyon.

Questions & Answers

is this slot canyon free to tour alone? if not which canyon in this area is?

No, it's on private property so you're required to pay for a guide. I'm not certain if there's any free ones hopefully someone else can answer that part of your question.
