I went to get a dog and didn’t have my id at the moment so I was told to come back the next day at open where they ended up giving the dog away in front of me after they were going to hold him.

My dog that I had just passed away a month ago. I was ready to open my heart up to another furry friend me and my brother found a dog we loved him was to close to the time for us to adopt him and we had one more stop we where told if we come back tomorrow when they open we could adopt him but we couldn’t view him again. And we said that’s fine my brother came back to adopt him. And they had raffled cartman off. We are more then upset at not being informed abt this matter. We feel very lied to. Shame on the staff. And when we where viewing dogs we got treated like kids untill we told her our age. 21 so very upsetting.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the animals, the shelter is clean and the dogs are very well taken care of. They worked hard to match the dogs to the right families with detailed descriptions about the animals. We are very thankful to them for helping us in selecting the newest member of our family

72 hours then they go up for adoption...at that point it could be a day-it could be a week...depends on who the lady wants to clean up after
sign up, pay
Please don't feed the wildlife or stray cats but catch them and neuter all pets. It's the healthy thing to do for animals and humans. Who wants ring worm or a disease that may haem your pet or your neighbor's pets?
Yes, that shouldn't be an issue
Post it on Next Door app with a photo and location.. I am sure someone is missing them......most owners respond to reclaim their dog.
Yes if you live in NRH.
I agree with Harold just goto the shelter... frfr
no.... nrh is a kill shelter
more are there...just held in the back
No it ended last week and the rescue had only 4 dogs left, no chihuahuas
I am not employed by the shelter. There are plenty of dogs at all Humane society.
for? adoption? no thats illegal. u cannot own wildlife in the state of Texas. raccoons that come to nrh are euthanized
Sometimes
Hey another dog temp? Doubt they would. They want to find perm homes not spot holders
You'd need to contact them personally; not leave a comment on Google review. They won't see it here.
You can just take her in during business hours
Go up there. Make sure you have proof of rabies. Call to see if there is a fee
Youll have to call the shelter.
No,try the county Marshall
Look on their website.
They could, I would call animal control.
Is the sweet cat you found by chance an orange tabby???
Nrh will pick them up during their normal bankers hours
I think they give them to a rescue society. I haven't seen any there.
