I was very disappointed in this shop. The owner criticized my knitting needles, my yarn, my cast on stitches and the pattern I was working on, which in contrast, had all been encouraged and nurtured at my hometown knitting shop. I was talked into a new project, which as I attempted to attend, my "private" lesson, became public and everyone around the table became part of the criticism. The owner showed me her "easy" cast on method again and again. I told her I could not see the 2nd part because her hand was in the way, but she ignored this and continued to show me the same way until she became testy and just did it herself. A redheaded mouthy woman asked for the name of the pattern and I, attempting self deprecation humor, responded "Brainless Beannie, which I guess is appropriate for me at this point!" She piped up nice and loud, "Yeah that's what I was thinking!" So, $100+ dollars later, I was humiliated and discouraged and might be done with knitting until I get back home where kindness abounds.

Came here to pick up some yarn for my first knitting project. Debbie and her husband were so helpful. I love this shop, you have to visit!

I live in Washington and have family in the Springs. I always visit when I'm in town because it's such a great store and the people are so very friendly. The best thing that I like about Ewe and Me are the locally dyed yarns. What a great souvenir!

A fantastic yarn shop! The staff are incredibly friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable on their inventory. It's a HUGE store for a local shop! So many truly lovely yarns of all varieties and colors and plenty of supplies for any kind of fiber art you fancy. They also have free shipping, too, which is handy when you're visiting from out of state and only brought a carry-on. Highly recommend!
