I love this place. It's nice and clean. Very friendly staff. I bring something every time I can. Please HELP. Bring something. Food, toys, blankets or Money.

I love this no-kill animal shelter. Second Chances rescues at-risk cats and dogs from local municipal shelters and cares for them until they find their forever homes. It’s a great mission and the volunteers are great. I’d recommend Second Chance to anyone looking for a companion or looking for a place to volunteer.

Rufus, a dachshund mix adopted US about 5 years ago. He was about 1 years old. Sweetest, most loyal and loving dog that still likes to play like a puppy.
Magicbox TinyHome
Black-hearted employees, dog stealing, robbery, not a non-profit organization at all. they just want money

What did you find out? I need to know where I can drop off a little dog I found running down the street last night in the pouring rain off Springcreek & 75.
Yes they have many dogs to choose from. Go by their location & speak with them. Also check out their website.
I think this is it https://secondchancespca.org/volunteer Dont forget to Like my answer if it helped you :)
We do not accept owner surrenders or strays as we do not have the legal paperwork to do so.
Yes, check with admin for days and times
You can check our available animals at www.scspca.org
No, you cannot. SPCA does not take walk-ins or drop offs. I suggest you take him to the Plano Animal Shelter; they can take care of him there.
Have you tried Thrive Vet?
They only rescue from municipal shelters. No animals can be surrendered here
I just started volunteering here. There is an online form that you can fill out to apply for a volunteering position. I think you have to be 16 to start volunteering, but there is more information on their website.
Love this plce
They have limited hours and you have to make an appointment first.
No surrenders are accepted, from any place. Contact your municipal shelter for any surrenders.
There are 3 black labs about 5 months old available right now. Please track our website at secondchancespca.org
We rely on people volunteering to help us take care of our animals
If you have to give the cat up your best bet is to take it to the Plano Animal shelter
No, they do not, they go to area shelters to rescue dogs that can be rehabbed but are on the euthanasia list
This shelter is a non-profit organization that gladly accepts volunteers to help with various activities.
Second Chance does not take in owner surrenders or strays. You'd want to take it to a municipal shelter, preferably Plano's.
They do not do shots here. They only handle dog & cat adoptions. Google "low cost vaccination dallas"
Possibly, it's best to call and ask. Like my answer if it helped :)
Texas Coaltion for Animal Protection in Allen.
No you just pay that if you are signing up to be a volunteer, which it's well worth. But just browsing for pets is free
Good answer M L. If you want to keep the dog that is a good suggestion. If not, then you can call dallas animal control and they will give you good directions on what to do. I believe the Dallas Animal Shelter is a no kill shelter. When i went there, there were a few animals with injuries so i am pretty sure that they would get treated.
I have a pit mix... About a year old! We have to rehome her due to landlord issues.
SCSPCA rescues from the larger city shelters. Once an animal comes to our shelter they stay with us until they find their forever home. If space becomes an issue we are just forced to rescue less or find foster homes if possible.
We have found a sweet long haired Chihuahua mix, well taken care of but no microchip etc. Tried 2 weeks to find owner. We cannot keep her. Are you interested?
Sorry but they don't accept surrendered animals. They rescue from shelters that euthanize.
No, SCSPCA only rescues from municipal shelters that euthanize.
Justina, Second Chance only pulls animals from other local shelters. They do not take in surrenders or strays from the public.
Hi Becky, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. At our shelter, the sole intake of animals is of those at municipal shelters who are facing euthanasia; we do not accept strays or surrenders. I do apologize for the confusion and I hope that you find a solution that works for you.
It is a no kill shelter!
Ive have no clue what your asking,if your adking if you can drop them off by car yes you can
