Worst experience ever! Schedule an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a tow hitch came early was told to wait 2 hours as they are behind. came back after the time frame and waited another 4 hours in the lobby for a tow hitch install! Absolutely the worst customer service I would not suggest this location whatsoever!

I came in to the store on Monday 7-11-22 to schedule an appointment to get an estimate on the installation of a hitch and electrical hook up for my vehicle. Sounded reasonable and since I had used this location in the past I felt like everything should be fine. However when I came in on 7-12-22 at 10:an I explained that I was scheduled to have a hitch and electrical hook installed on my vehicle. I was notified that the installer was not in due to a injury yesterday, but if I didn’t mind coming back at 1:pm , they would be able to install the hitch at that time. While I came into the store I brought my iPad with me to work on since the install would take a couple of hours. So when I departed I accidentally left my iPad in a black zipper bag next to the counter. I didn’t realize I had left the iPad until I was at lunch, but didn’t worry since I just left and was going back at 1:pm. When I returned at 1:pm for the install I ask about the iPad and no one had seen it, but it was gone. So I left the car and my wife picked me up. About an hour later I received a call from the store and the mechanic who was installing the hitch said it was un-installable due to cross threaded threads on the frame that the hitch would attached to. When I came back to pick up my vehicle the mechanic explained the situation and said the threads on the frame were cross threaded and there’s nothing he could do. After departing the store I called around to other shops that could help and none were interested in resolving my problem or even trying. Eventually I called a vendor that was willing to at least look at the situation and try to help. They suggested to go ahead and buy the hitch from U-haul since they already had my particular model and then they would make the necessary changes to properly install the hitch. The next morning I called Apple to see if anyone had tried to sign on to the iPad and they immediately found the iPad and said someone had just tried to sign on 5 minutes early. I was shocked to find out that it was at U-haul where I had attempted the hitch installation. I immediately drove over and spoke with the agent that I had been working with and explained the situation. He again commented that nobody had seen the iPad. I explained about Apple locating the iPad at this location and explained that either he find it or I would get the police and they would. He acted like he was looking behind the counter and then walked into the office and pulled it out behind some box’s. “What a jerk” The next day when the other vender installed the hitch he stated that the 3 threaded holes on each side of the frame were just fine and he couldn’t understand why U-Haul could not install the hitch. However he did comment that the cross threaded holed were not intended for the hitch and thought maybe the U-haul mechanic didn’t know what he was doing. So for anyone attempting to utilize this location, you better be careful as they have some unscrupulous people working there and there mechanic is totally unreliable.

awful, awful, awful!! Two weeks ago, I showed up at 7am to have a hitch put on my car. I was told that not all the parts were in, but they didn’t bother calling to let me know…instead, I drive in 45 minutes to leave without a hitch. I show up this morning at 7am to my rescheduled appt…only to be told it would be two hours before they could start it! Once again, I drove in 45 minutes, only to walk away yet again without a hitch. Needles to say, I demanded a refund, and will be taking my business elsewhere. Horrible!!!!
