So our sweet Ninja (Black Mini Schnauzer) - almost 15 - had some sort of stroke or seizure before Christmas last year. We did not have a local vet for him as my Husband had not switched his Vet records from Austin yet. We knew that this was the end for our sweet baby, but no other vets seemed to want to or were able to help us put him to rest. I called the amazing people a VCA Irving and they welcomed us with open arms. Every one of them were absolutley amazing and comforting to us. They gave us our options and we decided to be with him when he left us. I can't tell you how amazing the staff was. I don't remember the name of the sweet Lady Vet that put him down, but she was awesome. They let us stay with him as long as we needed and were so sweet and comforting to us even tho we had NEVER been there before. I highly recommed them !! Amazing people, Dr.Castro & Ramirez treated my fur baby so well , and the staff & assistants were very kind ! They made us feel safe during our tough time. Im very thankful my sweet woody got care from them.

VCA metroplex has been amazing specifically Dr Martinez. She is thr nicest woman and so loving of animals. She has taken great care of my now passed elderly kitty for 3 years of which he wasn't expected to live that long but with her help and love he did. And now she's caring for my new kitty of whom has health issues also. I couldn't recommend her and vca enough. Thank you vca staff for all you do for our fur-babies!❤️

Sunday 9/18/22 I had to say goodbye to my 17 year old Sandybear. I knew the day was coming but the moment was sudden. She took a turn Sunday afternoon. VCA staff was incredible! They were compassionate, kind, patient and so helpful. No one wants to go through the death of a pet. This all star staff could not have made it a better experience. It was after 9pm when I made the call that we would be on our way. We got there and a room was ready. Sandy was allowed to lay on her own comfy bed with me next to her. They even brought her some chicken and ham to have a last treat. I cannot remember the names of the ladies who were helping that night but all of them were so sympathetic and supportive. Saying goodbye to a pet is so difficult, I’m just grateful this is where we ended up. Thank you VCA staff. 💛
