If you use their service be careful about the bill before you drop off your machine. I dropped off my stump grinder with a Briggs and Stratton motor with the repair being covered under the warranty. They told me they had another hour added because it took longer than what Briggs and Stratton allowed. They either have unskilled mechanics making these repairs or just adding extra hours to the bill. If you look on Ivy's Facebook the first thing that pops up is wanting experienced mechanics. They also charged me for a service when most of the parts taken off was part of the repair. Seems to me the parts just should have been charged not another 110hr to put the parts that had to come off anyway back onto the machine. Also, when you do motor work you have to change the oil because metal flakes can contaminate the oil. Just be careful if you use their shop and its not in the best area so be safe.

I recently went there for parts, which they had in stock. I hear excellent news about Ivy's, their people, their service. My shopping there confirmed this! Can't go wrong using Ivy's imho.

I got the ole "bait and switch" trick. Dropped my Snapper walk-behind off for a starter rope. The lady who wrote me up after I asked the price. "Ohh, just about 35.00 bucks." Well, when I went in to pick the mower up the price mysteriously went up by 40.00! Total bill was 75.00 to change a 5.00 starter rope. I'll NEVER go back to that place!
