(edited: Kudos to the owners for removing the mask and vaccine mandate. Thank you!!) I love (most) everything about the State and Bijou Theaters! The ambiance is incredible, special really. BUT I will leave a one star rating up until the owner removes the vax and mask mandate. This theater received a nearly 1 million dollar grant from us tax payers. Some of whom are vaxed and unvaxed, masked and unmasked. I am not an antivaxer btw been vaxed and boosted. But this policy isn't right and is really just another form of discrimination.

It's unbelievable that this place is still requiring proof of vaccination AND mandatory masks. What world do the owners live in that they think this is even remotely reasonable or sane or based on any science? I'm done, I can't ever imagine supporting this place again. And to think they received almost 1 million dollars from the tax payers in "Covid relief". What a joke.

Very disappointed that the Bijou continues to make movie going poitical. Vax and Booster mandates, mask mandates, social distancing. Please get with the science and not the politics. This isn't about health and safety, it's about discrimination plain and simple. I definitely will not give my business to this establishment.

The schedule is online at stateandbijou.org. The first run movies are announced one week out, and special programming like Kids Matinees, Friday Night Flicks, and Classic matinees have about a three month schedule published at once. Special events are published as they are scheduled.
The information for what they are currently showing is on their website there is a link to it on Google Maps.
Suggest calling the Bijou. Last time I was there they were $6.50. Regardless they will be MUCH less expensive than the Cherry Blossom.
