Super nice staff and Lighthouse.

We didn't tour a lot of the park trails, but the lighthouse, accompanying shipwreck museum, and nearby beaches were all wonderful and offered great views of the water and surrounding land. They had ample parking and a playground our daughter could have played on for hours.

The park is beautiful. The stony shore is gorgeous. The lighthouse is scenic and well kept. Its disappointing that the lighthouse costs $8 to enter. As a family trip, we opted to not go inside.

There are no dunes at this park. Sleeping Bear Dunes are not at this location.
In some areas, yes. Must remain on 6' leash. Also, as always...clean up after your pets! Signed, a fellow responsible pet owner. 👍😁
In & out as far as service goes
No, just out houses and water. Very rustic.
Yes, during the summer season. Call ahead for reservations.
Yes, very likely to be unmanned at that point. Certainly should be no issue getting a site!
The high school allowed showers for a few bucks but that was during summer. The lake works or use the smaller lake south of Mudd lake
Tuckers is a great place for adults and kids. Restaurant plus bowling and some other games there as well. They are located in Northport, 15 minute drive from the park.
They generally say don't use RV generators but if you had to, use them before 8 oclock at night due to noise and people wanting to sleep.
