Every time I deal with anything through St Alphonsus I get nothing but a run around and it seems like no one wants to truly listen to my concerns. They treat me like a lunatic. I don’t recommend Dr Cheney… he didn’t listen to me but instead made me feel like I wasted his time over something that was actually a very important issue that I’ve been dealing with. He made me feel like I needed to lose weight… which I have lost 40 lbs since the last time I saw him but not a word about that. My other Dr through St Al’s was amazing, until he retired and since then I’ve been seeing Diana Neff. I feel rushed and once again, not fully taken serious whatsoever. I think I’ll be switching to a different agency, perhaps St Luke’s.

EDIT!! A nice lady called today, said there was a glitch in the system and that my account would be taken care of. They would never have known about the glitch if they hadn’t seen my review. Went in for a Covid test, the girl comes out and asks for my insurance and I don’t have any. She says ok and does the test. 3 months later I get a bill for $250 for that test. NOWHERE DID THEY SAY ID HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TEST?? They do have financial aid for the test, I would have qualified had the girl doing the test mentioned it when I told her I didn’t have insurance or if it had been in any of the paperwork I got at testing. Now I have a job and won’t qualify… Apparently St Alphonsus NEGLECTS TO INFORM THAT ITS NOT A FREE SERVICE. That way you assume it’s free and get a nasty surprise later on down the road.. I know where I screwed up here, I shouldn’t assume. BUT! This is some shady business on their part.

Saint Alphonsus Medical group on cherry lane is now claiming to be a hospital. The cherry lane group may have an urgent care but they are not a hospital. They have found the loophole to increase the charges to medicare and insurance companies as well as cash paying customers.. They will now charge for the doctor's visit and then separately for the facility charge, with an increase that may raise rates approximately 80%. As I watched others sign the paper they demand, which is a notification of this change And how it may and will increase the cost of services They openly tell you you may want to find another facility to avoid Ridiculous additional charges. This new charges lines the pockets Of the organization and deny care to the people who may not be able to pay. Well others signed this paper and walked in, I decided to walk out, being sure I was in 1st stage liver failure. It's that important to me that we the people Demand fair practice and pricing. This is why your parents have to work until they're 72 to begin their social security which is still not enough To help pay your cost Of living in the new Idaho. Please support independent doctors of Idaho As I now will be doing. I'm very unhappy to be forced to leave my very good doctor mark Chaney As a staunch Republican, I even have to say enough is enough, And as a Catholic, I have to say the church should be ashamed of themselves. As a business owner I know 1st hand how hard it isTo keep the doors open at times, But when you have a monopoly Like Saint Luke's and Saint Alphonsus, We know that is not an issue.. Please stand up for the reason you live in Idaho or have moved to Idaho.
