Dan is professional, and amazing at what he does! We got married on a Saturday and got our photos back the week after. The quickest turn around time and the quality of photos was exceptional. I feel like Dan really captured my guests personalities and I never felt like I had to focus too much on taking photos. I feel like I just got to be myself all day and not spend time posing or doing something that felt forced. Dan was super non obtrusive and somehow every where and able to capture all the right moments. He's a stealth ninja photographer while capturing beautiful photos. He also knows the right times to be directive and how to get 140+ people to line up for a photograph. He was super organized during family photos and on top of it. He was really professional and we had several calls leading up to the day so we weren't meeting him on the wedding day. Dan also sent an extremely thoughtful package after our wedding that had a hand drawn photo of our ceremony location and other goodies. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for amazing photos and someone easy to work with.

We had Anna from Dan Stewart Photography take photos at our wedding and she was phenomenal! Not only was she comforting when we were stressed about timing, but she also made it natural to take photos with her. You spend most of your day with your photographer, so we picked the right company that has staff who make sure you enjoy your day first and foremost. On top of that, we have the most lovely photos. Everyone talks about our sunset photos. They also send some select print outs, a mug, and a painted image of our sunset photo session. Their editing was a lot quicker than anyone I know who had a wedding and they did a great job with editing. Can't recommend them enough!

Dan did an absolutely incredible job. I am going to try and convey how much we enjoyed working with him and how much we love the pictures he provided, but I don’t know if I can do it justice. Dan was professional and timely throughout the entire process. Not only is he professional and pleasant, but he is also truly an artist and phenomenal at what he does. He has the ability to make you calm in all the chaos of wedding planning. We booked him for just photography originally, but he ended up providing us a videographer too! 3 days before the wedding and on our way up to Traverse City we got a call from our videographer (different company) that they were cancelling on us. We immediately texted Dan, told him what happened, and asked if he knew anyone that could be our videographer at the last minute. Within 5 minutes of me texting him Dan he called me, and in less than 2 hours after we talked he had found us a videographer and we had a contract with him signed. The day of the wedding Dan showed up with Scott (also works at Dan Stewart Photography) and they were incredible. All day we had people telling us how professional they both were and how nice they both were. They truly went above and beyond with the services they provide and I cannot recommend them enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Dan!! From the moment we met with him all the way through to the very last moment on our wedding day, Dan was so helpful, kind, and thoughtful. He's also a very calming presence amidst what can be a highly stressful process! He clearly knows this business and it shows. Even my parents were impressed (and they are very rarely impressed). Literally everyone who came to the wedding commented afterwards on how professional Dan was, how efficient he was at the family portraits (so we didn't miss out on too much of the cocktail hour!), and how aware he was of what was going on and where he should be to capture moments we'll want to remember. All of this means that the photos (which he turned around in the shortest timeframe EVER) were stunning. Making the album and figuring out which ones to print is going to be so tough (but a great problem to have)! We almost didn't go with Dan because his services were on the more expensive end of what we were looking at but I am SO glad we did. You'll have no regrets with him!
