Boulder Canyon Trailhead is a great trail and it is an amazing drive here! This trail is right next to the lake and it's very peaceful! Definitely recommend!

Great hike for a Thursday. Didn't see anyone until I was about 1/2 way back. More of a long moderate hike for myself and not hard. Make a right at the random bed frame.

The descrip. of Boulder Canyon to Viewpoint trail on AllTrails has in brackets "closed", but I see people have recorded hikes within the past few days. Is it closed? Also, what type of pass needed and where to get it? Thank you!

Is open you need a tonto pass and you can park on the marina parking lot... the road is close pass the tortilla flat restaurant

I don't know about hiking but you do have to have a pass to park.
