Only been there once so far. Did the private class on a Saturday morning. Our instructor was great and we learned the rules of the range, how set everything up, and different parts of the bow. Everyone at the range was friendly and very open to help and teach you. I gave it 4 stars because it seems there are a lot of classes and only one or two rows are for the public. Could have been just on Saturdays so I would check on weekdays to see if it’s busy. You do have to pay a yearly fee to be a member and use the equipment and targets. I can’t remember the price but it’s under $100 for the whole year. To become a member you do have to insure yourself first through the archery association which I heard is a small fee. You can bring your own equipment and targets. It was all ages and you can bring your dog if you have it tied to you so it’s not a distraction or running around.

Great archery range! All ages. Different practice times even for adults separate from kids. Completions are ranked by age and distance. Friendly coaches. Kids are happy and focused.

Yes, crossbows are permitted. No broadheads are allowed.
This is a public range through the City of Parks and Recreation in Phoenix. It is open from sunrise to sunset (or 7pm, whichever comes first) each day.
You can probably set up something at the back, I don't remember a sign saying you can't throw knives, you can't shoot guns.
No
Short answer: no... you might be able to get help from people at the range with setting up your bow, but if the bow needs to be tuned, your best option is to find a good pro shop with an indoor range, where you can set your sights without the wind effecting the arrow flight. This range provides a great outdoor experience, but it's better to set your sights in a controlled environment.
