Had a more than disappointing experience today at the Mesquite Grill. Will never go back and usually take winter visitors there for the view And atmosphere every winter over and over again. Had reservation for 11:45 and waited until 1:00 for food to be served. No Manager said a word, barely a word about it from server. And at that fries stone cold and below average food all the way’around. Totally understand the staffing problem restaurants are facing with servers but providing customers will poor food and service resulting in a poor tip will probably not entice servers to stay either. A word to the wise, if you can’t accommodate a reservation due to staffing be gracious enough to notify the party with a phone call so they can make other arrangements or be prepared for a wait. I had to take my food to go as soon as it was served because I had to leave for an appointment. Get your act together McDowell Ranch. The view and ambiance can only take you so far!! Adios!

I've played here twice in the last month and really like what they've done to the course since the old days of Sanctuary. They have really cleaned up all the waste areas to make the course more playable and pick up pace of play. You get to use every club in your bag too. Even in the summer, the conditions weren't bad. It played firm and fast which our group liked. Great short game area too. I'll be coming back!
