This public trail is located near the northwest portion of Interstate 820. It features a concrete walking trail that loops around Marine Creek Lake for approximately six miles. The trail is appropriate for walking, bicycling, running, pets, and picnics.

I was pleasantly surprised by this trail. My boyfriend goes to the TCC campus nearby and he wanted to show me the trail - there is outdoor workout equipment and a huge variety of birds and other wildlife that appear to love the area. As a huge nature nerd, it was interesting and exciting seeing the variety of plants and animals. Awesome trail.

Now you can. It’s legal. But most people mind their own business at marine creek. Been going for years and never had any issues.

I don't know about the sign holders but the metal posts are there to keep motor vehicles off of the trail. I wish that they didn't need them because they are a real pain when bicycling.
