We recently spent three nights here to be near Hawk Mt. The decorative details of this house are simply stunning! From ceiling to floor, you will marvel at the details and feel like you stepped inside a newly built and decorated grand home. I won't say more so you are as delighted as we were with the small details. Ask Charlotte, the host, for the history. Speaking of Charlotte, she has thought of every need! There is a Keurig and wine glasses AND Doritos i the common room for whatever mood you're in. She also puts a lot of thought into breakfast every morning. I highly recommend this place! Save an hour (at least) for the self-guided walking tour of town.

This is an absolutely WONDERFUL place to stay. I came for a weekend in February and it was the perfect getaway. The house was lovely and Charlotte, the host, was fantastic - and made great breakfast! I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This place is even nicer than the photos because the detail from the stained glass windows to the molding is just beautiful. Amazing host, gorgeous rooms and luxurious accomodations. Definitely coming back here often!

What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful home, rooms are large and bedding is heavenly! Decor is lovely with no detail overlooked. Love the history! A bottle of wine awaited us when we arrived and we relaxed with glass in hand while putting together a puzzle in the sitting room. The host is friendly and engaging but not intrusive. Breakfast was AWESOME!!! Felt like we were at Downton Abbey. 😊 Price is well worth it and we would def stay again. Oh, and Josephine is a pure delight.....a very well behaved dog and so sweet. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!!
