The only Eisenhower dollars we buy are the ones made of 40% silver, in your case it would have been issued in a proof set or an uncirculated set. You can tell, by looking at the side, if you see copper, you know it only has the value of $1.00.

Are we talking gold, silver, platinum, rhodium or palladium? Most gold bullion we pay 97% of spot and will often change with the market. Most silver bullion we pay $1.00 behind spot silver. There are types of bullion we pay spot or more, such as uncirculated US Silver Eagles, Uncirculated Canadian Silver Maple Leafs, and some silver Englehard bars for example. Rhodium and palladium we pay behind spot, as they are usually sent to a refinery and melted. If you have any further questions, please stop by.

In 1922 the Denver mint was the only mint that pressed pennies for circulation and by the end of the run the dies were so weak that they weren't pressing the "D" mint mark. So the 1922 without the mint mark is actually an error and not a Philadelphia minted penny. Depending on if the coin is authentic and its condition will determine it's value.
