I would give no stars if I could. Me and my husband arrived for my appointment I was 5 minutes late. My appointment time was 8:15. The receptionist was very rude said to my husband you have to wait outside I said I was not told this I would have come alone. She said it’s been covid all year. But some facilities allow someone to accompany you. She said I tried to call you yesterday but I don’t have any missed calls. I was screened in and no other person was present in the waiting room. So while I’m waiting I’m in the doorway talking to my husband. A lady went to come in so I stepped into the hallway so that she was the only one in the office waiting room. That receptionist got up came back to me to take my temp again then said I had to wait in the office. She acted like one person had to be in waiting area at a time since my husband couldn’t be in there so I was confused why I had to be in this little waiting room with this other lady. The receptionist whom wants ppl to sign that they received a privacy practices when I did not. Then when I asked for it I was told no one ever asked her that before..Rushes me to sign acting like it’s to get me back to be seen only to have me stand there and wait. I waited and watched another staff member keep walking back and forth not appearing to do anything then finally comes out to call my name takes me to the first room says she needs to get my weight then says well I’m too late to get my procedure because It’s 8:28 and we still have paperwork to do. She said we ask that all new patients arrive 15 minutes early. Well they should make sure the patient is aware.. I completed the paperwork prior to my arrival so all I did was hand my paperwork and insurance card to the receptionist so what paperwork did we need to do? She said it would be too late to do the procedure but we can establish care. I said if you were not able to do my procedure and care had to be established why set me up for the procedure? Why was I not informed that this was the policy? I feel her behavior was intentional and meant to waste my time because of the incident between myself and the receptionist. The receptionist did get up and walk back where this woman was I believe she told her what happened and this was her retaliation preventing me from being seen.

I saw Dr.Lo today. I went to the wrong location at first but they were kind and accommodating. Dr. Lo is new to the practice but he was calm and took his time to make me feel comfortable.
