Butch was very informative without being pushy, a pleasure to work with. We purchased a used Sylvan and JC went above and beyond to service our engine as well adding little touches to our boat. I started my search online and found salty dog. I read some other positive reviews so I decided to give them a try. Called first to make sure that they were open and I spoke to Butch. Went down that afternoon and got to meet Butch in person. He was a wealth of knowledge and information. We felt very comfortable with him right from the start. He was very patient with us as we are new to the whole boat game. My dad couldn’t make it that day and I wanted him to be there so we brought him back down the next day. Again Butch was very honest and patient with us. We did not feel pressured at all. Narrowed it down to a couple of boat choices. Took one out for a test spin. Came back a few days later and bought a pontoon. Butch even showed us how to set the trailer up and taught us all the tricks we need to know. Helped us launch the boat and practice the day we took it out (he actually came in on his day off to do this as well which was really nice). He truly cares about his customers and he definitely instilled some confidence in our own selves. Which we needed since we are beginners. We love our boat and we know that we can call Butch at any time if we need any assistance in the future. He will not disappear after your sale. Highly recommend this place and highly recommend Butch. If you make a trip down there, be sure to look for the cute dog as well. Her name is Sandy and she is a sweetheart.

hi I had my 200 yamaha serviced for annual maitaninece at Salty Dog.. The guys there are great They are detail driven and good at explaining what they did. I got the boat back earlier than promised. I will only take the boat there for Yamaha service I am getting a flats skiff in January that will have a Suzuki but may change that to Yamaha while I can because of this experience.

I purchased my 2020 Release from Salty Dog and have no regrets driving a distance to do business with them. Kevin exceeded all expectations to locate my boat. They were honest and sincere. Kevin, Cam, Butch, Fernando and Hector are all great people to deal with. If and when I get the 3' itch or ever need another boat, they will definitely get my business!
