Most of the disclosures that we provide the member can sign electronically. There are a few that require manual signature, but we usually send by email and they scan them back to us, or I recommend they go to their nearest branch and a team member can send it back to us. The closing paperwork at the very end is done in person.
When they apply, they don't necessarily lock in their interest rate. They can lock in up to 7 days prior to the closing date, but until they are locked in, the rates can fluctuate. The longest we can lock the rate is 60 days, but we usually don't lock them for more than 45 days. There is also a 30 day option and a 15 day option.
