I had been going to the eye institute for a very long time. I did try another eye doctor in 2020 & 2021 but I will be going back as soon as I can get an appointment. Even though the students actually do the exam a doctor makes the final decision after she/he come and examine you. They are ver thorough.

Long wait time on the phone to schedule appointments and you can never get the same doctor. Even if you do you have to wait three to four months.
James Carter
The doctors and assistant were help and courteous They gave me a complete eye exam and they prescribe new eyeglasses for me. I am pleased with theses glasses . it improved my vision.

Hi Joseph, Patients who have patient portal accounts can request appointments online. However, because we have many different appointment types and specialties, we prefer to guide patients through the appointment process. For those who cannot communicate through the phone, we offer email, texting, and an online ASL service.
If you have insurance that will cover you eye exam. If no insurance it's less than $200 just for the eye exam.
