Foot Dynamics

My wife and I visited Foot Dynamics for the first time this morning. For a Monday morning, the store was surprisingly busy. It's obviously a popular shoe shopping destination. By luck of the draw, Kevin, the owner of the store, assisted us. We were looking for lightweight hikers and it was clear that Kevin has a passion for good footwear, and making sure his clients receive what their feet need. He listened to our hiking goals, and was happy to pull out multiple shoes for us to try on, as well as fitting my wife for orthotic insoles. It was clear he is knowledgeable regarding foot dynamics, pathology, anatomy, and the different strengths and benefits of the brands that he carries. As a retired physical therapist, I was able to discern this immediately. I was more than happy to rely on Kevin's expert direction, as was my wife. We've now completed our first break-in walk in our shoes and it went well. Foot Dynamics is a Boise treasure. Thank you, Kevin. We'll be back!

I have purchased new shoes and have taken Birkenstocks in for repair and sole replacement with great results. They fit my husband with a shoe designed to offset pronation and ease Achilles tendon discomfort. Staff are knowledgable and helpful.
