Wow! After reading the reviews, I was expecting a horrible experience. I, too, had first tried the phone and gave up when the wait was going to be 45 minutes. I decided to go in person to the Chinden Blvd office, and was very pleasantly surprised. I was the only one there, so was helped immediately. The gentleman on duty was polite and friendly. He explained why there was a delay in processing my return--too few processors in the office and mathematical mistakes on my part which requires them to hand process my return. He also explained what to expect at this point. If you need help from these folks, and you live in the Treasure Valley, I highly recommend going in to the office if at all possible. It was a very positive experience.

They work for the people? I think not. Called and after a 40 minute wait was finally talking to someone. I couldn’t understand her because of the language barrier and asked to speak to someone else. She said “no” and hung up on me. The reviews on here are disturbing yet nothing is being done.

The worst customer service ever. The people who work for the tax commission should be ashamed of themselves.

Nobody answers the phone or emails. One of the contact's phone numbers was disconnected. Can't even leave a message. Phone just keeps ringing. I've tried several different numbers. Their site says my info doesn't match what they have on file...but I have the document with the info right in front of me. How am I supposed to register my business with the state if the online form submission doesn't work, they won't answer their emails, OR their phones?! How frustrating. At this point it's like, I guess I just won't pay. BUT then I can't set up my payroll. Y'all are TERRIBLE! Unfortunately it's government. So we have to just deal with the incompetence.

That definitely is a good question I would definitely call the tax commission directly about that
Why don't you try actually calling them and asking
That what I'm asking you
Where is my tax refund
You should check out our website. You can search almost any topic. You can file either way but you will need to get permits.
PO BOX 36 Boise, ID 83722-0410
PO BOX 56 Boise, ID 83756-0056
Copy of Federal return, and w2's, and any supporting documents. Should be able to find out on the ISTC website.
Go to the Idaho State tax commission website and search for the form STC 06. Fill it out and either send it in or bring it in to the office.
Same here. Only they did it for 2018 taxes. Still waiting for it.
You can go online and access the Tax Commissioner's website and do where's my refund just like with the IRS. The Tax Commission is taking more time for refunds because of all of the identity theft and fraud that we've been seeing
They pay no taxes for us. It is like being a private contractor
Yes.
You can either mail in a check with your payment voucher, or you can go online and pay it through the State Tax Commission website. Or you can go to 800 Park Boulevard building 4 and you can pay it there
