We booked last minute as we were driving east on I-80 and the rooms were available and priced for value. Our room was clean, but the shades were broken. The check in guy on the night shift was fast and somewhat helpful; the person working the breakfast area was not friendly and seemed only begrudgingly helpful. Breakfast was good for this tier of roadside hotel. Contrary to the old ads, we did not wake up smarter. Sigh.

Positive: The staff was amazing! Negative: Our AC unit did not get as cold as it should so the room was warm. We were not given the room we booked. Instead of a Standard king we were given a double handicap room. We didn't get much sleep due to child running and jumping for hours in the room above

Sign is hard to see from the road. Staff is friendly but did not greet as I walked into the bldg. Hand towel had a stain that looked like make up or old blood. Desk has a huge hole in the middle. Shower head is scaled up. Had small trash on the floor. Elevator has cleaning spray left on walls without being wiped. There were ants or some other type of bug on the floor in the dining area for breakfast. The smell of the cleaning products is rather harsh.

Rin Mintaka

We just needed a quick overnight stop for a concert we went to. The beds were super comfy and I slept like a log (although that might’ve been post-concert exhaustion). I’m not a huge fan of hotels that have the interconnected doors, but we didn’t have a problem. The hotel is in a quiet area and we stayed up on the 3rd floor and there wasn’t a peep in the night. Good prices for the area for an actual hotel. Would stay here again if we needed to.
