The View was what I expected with the rent price. as it is a lower level apartment complex in Lincoln for students. I am not the type of person to leave reviews for things, but the situation that the View put me in made me feel like I should make sure that students do not live here, as the Front Office and their organization is horrendous. They also state that electricity should be around 15 dollars a month, when in reality it is double that. So in short, just pick a higher priced place to live since this place is not worth it.

I've had a great experience at The View. The amenities are very convenient for me, especially the shuttles. Sometimes the shuttles do run late, but the drivers are very nice and are apologetic. The dog park is really big, so really nice for big dogs who need to run! I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to live that won't break the bank.

When I first moved in to The View I saw all the negative reviews, yet I thought that maybe all these people just had uncharacteristic, or maybe unlucky experiences that did not reflect the normal living experience at The View. After living here for about six months now, I can tell you that all the bad reviews that you see, accurately reflect the average living experience at The View. Upon move-in our unit was absolutely filthy, dirt, dust, grass, and hair everywhere on the floors. It took multiple rounds to really get everything clean. Our HVAC unit was leaking everywhere and there were water stains along the floors. Our washer was also broke upon move-in. One of our kitchen chairs was already ripped, and our floors were all scratched up. My roommate paid extra for overhead parking, yet when we moved in the stall had no cover on it and he was told they would fix it. It's been six months and there is still no overhead cover. Security doesn't do a great job, two of us have had our cars broken in to, and random people who appear to be homeless have approached us while using the basketball courts. For whatever reason they refuse to fix the potholes (they are every where). I was promised a "signing bonus" upon signing my lease, I was told that I would receive it in August. August came and went and I stil did not get it. I have since been to the office 5 or 6 times (once a month) and they tell me the same thing everytime that they "will make a note of it" and "take care of it" for me. Still have yet to get the money. This seems like a lot but there is much more wrong with this place that I do not care to take the time to type out. The shuttle is about the only thing about this place that I truly appreciate. The rent is low so I moved in with low expectations, but even low expectations didn't prepare me for this. Don't live here. Save yourself the stress and just pick a different place.

I had a great living experience at The View. It's an older property but you really do get a lot for the price. The shuttles were super convenient, and the staff was always so friendly. Would definitely recommend!
