Been to Vegas twice. We were on the strip both during the day and in the evening. In the evening, despite the crowds, it is of course nicer when the themed hotels and casinos on the approx. 7 km long promenade shine in a blaze of lights. There are places and sights in the USA that I could revisit every year, but the Las Vegas Strip is definitely not one of them. Two visits is enough without badmouthing this place. If you are in Vegas for the first time, the Strip is of course part of the standard program.

Vegas is a bucket list place to visit for most people. The scale and ridiculousness of the whole area is something that can only be experienced. There is not much to do at daytime, plus it is too hot to be outside. Nighttime is when the strip comes to life. Drinking in closed vessels is allowed on the street, so grab a beer from a convenience store and take your time to walk the strip and see what Vegas has to offer. Vegas is a playground for adults. There is drinking, smoking and lots of weed being consumed on the streets. Leave the kids behind.

Amazing to see all the different hotels with a different theme and vibe. Walked during day and night...Night is just wonderful with all the lights ✨️

Yes you can. Parking at TI and Circus Circus is free.
Right on the top after you hit start. The figure of the person walking next to the car and the bus...
Walmart is all over the place but the strip offers other options such as Target, Ross, Burlington and dozens of pharmacies. All chains are reasonably priced despite their strip location.
There is one at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace
Of the choices on the Strip, Circus Circus. My kids loved it, but remember, it's still primarily a casino. We stayed at Excalibur with the kids recently, and the employees of Excalibur were relentlessly rude to our children (even though we were staying there) and us for even thinking of bringing them there. Keep in mind they have a giant arcade in the basement. I recommend staying off the strip in a normal hotel that has a shuttle to the strip.
