I do not ever write reviews, and the only reason I am is because I have heard such good things about this place. My family and I decided to go here after my graduation. The food was ok, atmosphere was nice, service was good. However, my salad that came with my dinner had hair in it and I just disregarded it, didn't say anything to anyone (including my own family) fast forwarding, my brother's chicken had a piece of hair wrapped around it. The hair was gross, but what is really throwing me off is that a few hours later I felt extremely sick. I believe to have food poisoning as I threw up my entire dinner, and all the other fun symptoms that come with it. I had the vodka sauce w. shrimp and scallops. I think it is from the scallops since I am the only at the table that got them. I am really disappointed. Please do better.

Only reason I give this 4 stars is because even with a reservation we have had to wait an hour for our table 3x now so what is the point. 730 on a Saturday night not a great idea...maybe try earlier or later other than that....Food is fantastic. Portions are big. Menu has something for everyone. Nice bar area. Service was great. Love it just wish we didn't always have to wait with a reservation.

A great Italian gem in Milford. It was our first dinner here on Friday night. The restaurant is a beautiful space- very open, clean and well decorated. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Appetizers were delicious and it was really hard to limit ourselves to just 2. The entrees were large and very flavorful. Drinks were tasty as well with lots of variety. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back in the future.

For food this place gets 4 1/2-5 stars. Their calamari wasn't the greatest but the rest of the food was amazing. Their bread was nice, warm and just perfectly toasted, followed by a basic side salad. Got their steak tri fungi which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was a perfect compliment to the potatoes and 3 types of mushrooms. Husband had the chicken genovese and the creamy pesto sauce was absolutely divine. Sister in law had the seafood combo which she thoroughly enjoyed. Portions are good and everyone had a to go bag. Dessert was a cannoli-shell was hard and crunchy and just delightful filling. The Godiva chocolate cheesecake was also delicious. For service will give them 3-4 stars. We were a big group of 10, made reservations and didn't get seated for 30 minutes. No big deal given the restaurant is packed. Servers were nice when they did get there however it took forever to get refills on water/drinks and even dinner choices. I understand it's busy however when the 3 other tables around us were getting water and people checking up on them, it makes you wonder. Service did improve by the end of the night. Overall would go to them again as the food was delicious

I’m sorry but we will be closed Thanksgiving
No. This place used to be called Nello's LaCantina restaurant, he retired & sold the business. However the new owners come from family that do have other Restaurants in Shelton.
Not sure, but reservations aren't needed most nights
