I'm new here from the east coast and need an OB-GYN DOCTOR, i have alot of sisters and i want a doctor that will care for my body as well as i do and respect my wishes to privacy and that the staff respect their patients as well as the patients respecting the staff and doctors there, ok my update, my insurance company sent myself to see this ob- gyn Dr,whom was so old I thought he was going to drop dead between my legs,I needed a Dr,that knows what he's doing not looking like he gave birth to baby Jesus,no disrespect to baby Jesus but, that will not do, NEVER, I felt like I was being pranked with this old looking man, this will never happen again,I was examine for 3/5 seconds and he was gone, nothing ever said to my question about my body, he just smiled and walked into another room, glad I wasn't dying, I'd be dead already.

Did my annual exam 11 days ago and still haven’t get the results. I called the office multiple times (just as a background I had abnormal cells about 4 years ago therefore these results and exams are really important for me) to check on when this will posted on the portal. The receptionist told me they should be posted no later than 10 days from the date I did my exam…… 11 days later and still nothing. Another receptionist told me Dr. López is on holiday therefore my results are not posted yet. I can’t believe that answer as a patience I expect the doctor to have some sympathy to their patients and at least care when their health is a concern for them. Super upset about this situation I honestly don’t know what else to do to get my results released. If there is a bureau to contact for patients rights?

Do you take walk ins?

Luis J. Lopez-Benitez, MD, FACOG | Oct 27, 2019

Hi Diana! Yes we do. However, we prefer that patients schedule their appointments so that they don't have to wait that much. If we are fully booked, we can take a walk in, but you may need to wait to be seen longer than usual, since patients that have a scheduled appointment have priority.

Luis J. Lopez-Benitez, MD, FACOG | Oct 27, 2019

Hi Brittany! You may be a candidate for a tubal ligation reversal depending on the type of surgery you had. The best way of knowing exactly what was done is for you to request a copy of the operative report from the hospital or surgery center were you had your surgery. You can call our office to schedule a consultation with Dr. Lopez-Benitez. 702-476-1100.

I moved from Texas to Nevada. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and and Medicare. Am I able to see a doctor at your office

Johnnie James | Oct 27, 2019
Luis J. Lopez-Benitez, MD, FACOG | Oct 27, 2019

Hi Johnnie. It all depends on who's the primary insurance since we are not contracted with Medicare. If Blue Cross is your primary we can see you only using Blue Cross as your insurance. If Medicare is your primary, we could still see you as a cash pay patient only. You can call the office at 702-476-1100 to make an appointment or for more details.

Hello, my wife and I just moved here from California, she's 6 months pregnant so we need to find a new doctor that accepts Nevavda Medicaid ASAP! Please help!

Cannon Carducci | Oct 27, 2018
Centennial Ob/Gyn | Oct 27, 2018

Hi Cannon! Unfortunately our practice is a gynecological practice only. We don't take care of pregnant patients anymore. We would encourage you to call several practices as soon as possible to get an appointment. If that doesn't work out, you could call the labor and delivery units of different hospitals for suggestions of doctors that may accept new pregnant patients late in their pregnancies. We'll be glad to help your wife for any gynecological issues after her delivery. Best wishes!
