I'm currently seeing Dr.Rivas, she sincerely cares for her patients. Dr.Rivas will do her best to help you, I recently had my thyroid removed due to cancer. I would definitely recommend Dr.Rivas.

I've been with Palm Medical Group for almost two years now and have been very happy with the attentive care I have received there from Dr. Prasad and Dr. Nahkle. It can be difficult to find appointment dates because they are so busy, but they are the most reliable endocrinologist I have found in Las Vegas.

So far no luck talking to live person just to setup an appointment. This the 2nd day been calling and leaving messages just to schedule an appointment and no one called me back yet.. Looks like they have shortage on stuffing??

I am extremely outraged and disgusted at the way my daughter was treated at this location. She scheduled an appointment months ago with a scheduler settling on the date 5/13 and specifically requested that She needed the Sunset location due to it being the closet to her. Well when she goes in for her appointment just to be told that not only was her appointment yesterday, but it was at another location. They offered her to see another doctor but stated She had to pay a $50 late fee. Which RELUCTANTLY, She did cause she really needed to see a doctor and was told that was the only way she was going to be able to. She waited over 45 minutes just to be called up to the front again and be told that they require a $150 holding fee and I may be charged more at the end of the visit! The problem here is that not only was not notified of NONE of this over the phone, not many have over $200 and MORE to just give away at any spare moment. She explained to them her HSA pays for half of the visit but it needs to be billed first. The women at the front desk basically my daughter that she was out of luck and that's their policy even as my daughter had tears in her eyes and about to cry in their office. Both my daughter and I been working in the medical field for years and I've never seen an office behave with such greed and disgust. Do NOT bother making an appointment here if you don't like surprise fees and Of course my daughter was advised to report the $50 charge to her credit card company since She was not seen. I’m disgusted at how some Medical groups see patients as $$$ and not as human beings! Where did that oath you took go?🥲

I go to the endocrinologist there to manage my diabetes, so I don't know about the treatment of osteoporosis, or the medications it entails. Your best recourse is to call Palm medical group and speak to someone there that is a medical assistant and ask them, sorry I couldn't help.
