I've been going to Rainbow Animal Hospital for over 15 years. I no longer live on that side of town but I make the drive. I see Dr. Vensand mostly but all of the doctors are great. They actually listen to your concerns and take the time to explain everything so that you can make the best decision for your animal. Other hospitals that I tried on my side of town really never listened and kept trying to upsell me on other things. I've never felt that at Rainbow Animal Hospital. Every time I go I recognize the same receptionists and nurses. I always found places that keep the same staff for years are the best at what they do.

Yes, they were great in allowing our dog to be seen on a Sunday. Dr and office girls were compassionate. However, the cost was over 1,200 dollars for 2 hours of care. Just one x-ray, IV fluids and medicine. He still needed more care. We took him to his regular vet next day and he needed to stay overnight in the hospital. Total was 480 dollars and they performed so many more procedures. I would really think twice before going here. The cost is unreal!!!!

The entire staff at Rainbow Animal Hospital is so friendly and helpful. All of the vets are knowledgeable and caring. Everyone at Rainbow Animal Hospital was so kind to me when I had to have my kitty, my best friend for almost 11 years, euthanized in early 2020, They were so understanding of my pain and heartbreak. When I adopted another cat, there was no question as to where I would take her veterinary care. Not only are the vets, vet techs, and front desk staff amazing, but there is also the convenience factor. They are close to my home, and I love the fact that they are even open on weekends. Another detail I like is that they have separate entrances and waiting areas for dogs and cats.

Rainbow animal hospital is truly the best. They are one of the few vet offices I have been to where I don’t feel like they are trying to up-sell me on everything. They take a common sense approach and make suggestions that benefit my pets but also keep in mind the costs. Their vets and technicians are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I am so grateful I have found them and will continue to seek their advice and care for my pets. I highly recommend them- I think I have seen all the vets at one time or another and all have been fantastic. Update: I’ve been with Rainbow for three years. I still think they are wonderful - all of the Veterinarians and staff been caring and compassionate. I had to put one of my dogs down in May and it was heartbreaking. I was comforted by just how compassionate they were to my sorrow. I continue to highly recommend Rainbow Animal Hospital.

Hi Destiny. Sorry but we are unable to take walk ins, our doctors are available by appointment only. Thank you for your inquiry!
Hello Jesus Villegas, I'm sorry to hear your bird is having that issue. Unfortunately we do not have any veterinarians on staff that see birds at this time. I would recommend Aloha Animal Hospital. I hope you are able to find the care your bird needs. Thank you for your inquiry.
No they're open 7 days a week
Rainbow Rocks. I trust them and reccomend them
He probably ate grass when you took him out on his last walk and it upset his stomach
So sorry, we do not. I would recommend inquiring with Desert Inn Animal Hospital or Tropicana Animal Hospital, I believe they perform those procedures.
Hello and congratulations on your dog's pregnancy. Our doctors recommend both ultrasounds and radiographs depending on how far along mom is and on what kind of information we hope to get. Our office call and thorough exam and consult with the veterinarian is $54, pregnancy ultrasound is $112, and radiographs start at about $185. If your dog is early on in the pregnancy and you wish to find out if she is indeed pregnant we can perform an ultrasound to confirm, however we would only be able to guesstimate the number of puppies inside. If you are hoping to know the number as well, radiographs done around or after 50 days into the pregnancy will show evidence of skeleton/bone formation, allowing the doctor to determine how many. Hopefully this helps! If you would like to schedule an appointment or if you would like to talk to one of our doctors more in depth about this subject, please call our office at (702) 363-1300. Take care!
We currently have 3 full-time veterinarians on staff; Dr. Neil Patton, Dr. Elizabeth Wolf, and Dr. Alric Vensand. We also have one regular part-time veterinarian; her name is Dr. Christine Bercier. If you would like to know more, please take a look at our website! It's www.rainbowanimalhospital.com.
I'm sorry we do not have a neurologist. We would recommend Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center.
