Amazing facility and the staff really care!

It’s a nice place don’t get me wrong, my issue is the staff. McDonald’s holds higher standards for there employees then footprints does. It feels like the staff know less about how things work then the actual patients. If you are dealing with addiction to anything more then alcohol, I would highly recommend else where. Of the 5 rehabs I’ve been too, this would probably be the worse. Things you should know before coming •The food most of the time is very poor, it is catered is by the cheapest person they could find •A majority of the staff do not care about there job nor know anything about it •groups are pretty basic, you will here the same 5-6 subjects over and over again •Do not bring valuables, not often but on three different occasions, I’ve overheard other patients complain of stuff being lost in storage. • The program is very unorganized, you will here 2-3 different answers to questions from staff I could write more but I don’t feel like it, I’m writing this review because Me and many many other patients have talked to staff, complained to the staff manager, filled and turned in grievance forums with nothing being done. The problems heard and complained about at the beginning of my stay are the same ones at the end. THIS PLACE HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL IT JUST NEEDS SOME GOOD BHTS (techs, floor staff) If this is your only option, then take it. You will still get the help you need. Thanks for reading GOOD LUCK!

I'm going on 1 yr sober 9/27/22. I thank God for Footprints. I walked in w/out a appt. Asking for Help. The staff had open arms and positive attitudes. I thank the Elgin IL. team so much.

I would recommend Footprints to anybody. It's a very friendly place to came to get the help everyone needs. They have all the right tools to get you where you need to be and their very prompt in answering your questions. The staff here goes out of their way to help everyone.

During clinical hours electronics are not permitted, except for in cases of emergency. We believe this helps to maintain the therapeutic environment.
Footprints to Recovery's outpatient facilities are not locked facilities. The Licensed FTR Recovery Home, were patients commonly reside, is also not a locked facility.
As we're a facility that operates from an individualized lense of treatment, length of stay is based entirely on the individuals presenting symptoms. Due to this length of stay varies drastically from one individual to the next and there's no set 'standard' length of stay.
